      Karina's mother founded a Spanish school in 1997, in Downtown Oaxaca City. The school continued through the next two decades, and, since then, one of our main goals has been to make people feel at home. When the pandemic hit in 2020, they were already being pushed out of the city because of the ever-growing gentrification, so they had to close the school. This didn’t stop their love for teaching Spanish and for sharing our culture with people from other countries, so Karina decided to build a special home for that purpose. The school became a school-house, open to anyone who needs, not only a place to stay but a personalized and immersive program of language and culture.
