There's nothing better than cozying up to a crackling fire in the arms of your loved one in a charming mountain town for the weekend! Breck is just outside of Denver, Colorado nestled into the mountains and features the most romantic hikes, coffee shops, restaurants and resorts (take it from me, my husband and I got married there!) #romantic

  So, I recommended Sapphire Point for a quick hike during the day, but it's also the perfect spot to stargaze at night! You can ascend Swan Mountain (from Sapphire Overlook) to stargaze on the mountain top! Breck is truly the best place for clear skies and shining stars.

  Don't forget to share a cone before your romantic getaway comes to a close! After a romantic dinner, ice cream is a must! I Scream Gelato is my favorite ice cream shop in the mountains with an abundance of flavors, options, and the famous bubble waffle!

Breckenridge Brewery is the original Brewery of Breckenridge in downtown Breck. As you dine with history and locally-crafted beers, you'll see why I recommended this spot.

  This down-to-earth Bistro is a must stop lunch spot! The food is inspired by the seasons, with fresh ingredients and it's exactly what you need after a beautiful morning spent searching for the alpen glow in Breckenridge. They also offer live jazz music which adds an eclectic vibe to your romantic experience! Their seasonal menu is one of my favorites, but it changes so often that I couldn't even start to name my favorite dishes! I have no doubt that you and your partner will find a dish that'll make you want to come back for dinner too!

  Okay, so this spot is just outside of Breckenridge in Frisco, Colorado along the epic I-70. I just had to share this spot because it's where my husband and I eloped in Colorado! It can't get more romantic than that, right? Minutes away from downtown Breckenridge is this outstanding hike. Towering mountains, wildflower-filled meadows, majestical spruce forests, and old mines and cabins are just what you'll see on this romantic hike! You'll hike under three miles to the breathtaking cabins in the wilderness and back!

  Sapphire Point Overlook is a simple hike that loops back around to the parking lot! If you're not searching for an enduring hike on your romantic getaway, Sapphire Point Overlook is the perfect pit stop. The overlook features views you won't see anywhere else. Stop and soak in the views at one of the wooden picnic tables on your walk! This is also a common wedding venue, so maybe you'll spot a romantic wedding on your romantic getaway!

  Okay, honestly, what's more romantic than sitting on a ski lift with your sweetheart overlooking the mountains?! It could be romantic or scary... depending on your love or fear of heights, but falling in love is scary too, right? Breckenridge Ski Resort offers an entire weekend of events whether you're skiing, snowboarding, tubing, hiking, snowshoeing, the list goes on and on! They have plenty of summer activities too – try the alpine slide!

  Mountain View Coffee Bar is a charming coffee shop on Main Street! Before you spend the day hiking, shopping, skiing, or relaxing, be sure to stop by this gem! They offer freshly roasted coffee, cocktails, beer and even wine. I personally recommend the Bailey's Dark Chocolate Mocha – I still have yet to find a close match for this coffee cocktail anywhere!

  If you're looking for a romantic place to stay during your visit in Breck, The Lodge is perfect! This lodge offers rustic rooms with a cozy fireplace and mountain views OR even a private home for you and your partner! The Lodge even offers a special romantic stay with tasty treats, a bottle of champagne and romantic room decor to make your romantic getaway extra sweet! My husband and I almost chose the romantic lodge for our wedding stay, but opted for a more rustic weekend spent hiking and camping!
