  • Lodgepole Campground Upper Loop in Three Rivers, United States

      Lodgepole Campground is one of the best campgrounds in Sequoia National Park. It's open from early spring to late fall, has 214 sites, is surrounded by Lodgepole pines, and sits on the Marble Fork of the Kaweah River. It is within walking distance to Lodgepole Village which has a visitor center, market, laundry facilities, and shower. It's also close to the Sequoia park shuttle and many hiking trails!

  • Potwisha Campground, United States

      Potwisha Campground is a year-round campground located 4 miles past the Ash Entrance Station. It sits in the foothills of the park at 2,100 ft which gets very hot in the summer but has comfortable temperatures in the winter. The campground is also open to RVs and includes an RV waste station.

  • Buckeye Flat Campground, United States

      Buckeye Flat Campground is a tent-only campground located alongside the Kaweah River, 7 miles up from the Ash Mountain Entrance. The area is forested with California buckeye woodland and oaks. This campground is very hot and dry during the summer so fire restrictions are in effect. Buckeye Flat is open from early spring through the fall.

  • Dorst Creek Campground in Three Rivers, United States

      Dorst Creek Campground is another beautiful campground in Sequoia National Park. It has 222 total sites, 33 of which are RV only. The campground sits under evergreen trees at 6,800 feet in elevation creating comfortable temperatures in the summer. Its located near the Sequoia Shuttle and many hiking trails. **The Dorst Creek Campground is currently closed because of the KNP fire that burned through in the summer of 2022. It will hopefully reopen during the 2023 season.

  • Atwell Mill Campground in Three Rivers, United States

      Surrounded by Giant Sequoias and cedars, Atwell Mill Campground is one of the best campgrounds in Sequoia Nation Park. The campground is located off of Mineral King Road and is more remote than other park campgrounds. There are only 21 tent-only sites here. Three Rivers, located 23 miles (1.5 hours) west of Atwell Mill Campground, has the closest extensive services.

  • Cold Springs Campground in Three Rivers, United States

      Cold Springs Campground is located at the end of Mineral King Road and is a high-elevation campground allowing for cooler temperatures in the summer but it closes in the winter due to snow. Cold Springs Campground has 40 total sites; 31 regular parking and 9 walk-in sites about 100-200 yards from parking. Silver City Resort is 2.5 miles west and has minimal services. There are many beautiful trailheads to mountain passes and alpine lakes near this campground.

  • Upper Stony Creek Campground, United States

      Upper Stony Creek Campground is located in Sequoia National Forest and is great for camping near Kings Canyon National Park. It's located on General Highway and has 23 campsites for both RVs and tent camping. The campground sits at 6,400 feet in elevation and is very close to Jennie Lakes WIlderness. There are plenty of amenities about a half-mile from the campground at Stony Creek Resort.

  • Sunset Campground, United States

      Sunset Campground is a tent or RV campground located right off of Generals Highway. It's open from early spring to late fall and has 158 total sites. Sunset is just 3 miles from the Kings Canyon National Park entrance and is close to Grand Grove Village where there are plenty of services.

  • Bearpaw High Sierra Camp, United States

      Bearpaw High Sierra Camp is one of the best campgrounds in Sequoia Nation Park, sitting about 11 miles into the park's backcountry. While the main sierra camp tent cabins are closed for the season there are still plenty of backcountry wilderness camp spots throughout the forest. From the original High Sierra Camp spot there are impressive views of the granite walls in the park.

  • Pear Lake Winter Hut, United States

      Pear Lake Winter Hut is a historic cabin located in the backcountry of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. It is open during the winter and requires advanced ski or snowshoe skills to reach the cabin. The trailhead starts at Wolverton at 7,200 feet and climbs up to 9,200 feet at Pear Lake. Reservations are required in advance.

  • Azalea Campground in Grant Grove, United States

      Azalea Campground is one of the best campgrounds in Kings Canyon National Park. Both tent and RV campers can stay here and enjoy the sites surrounded by evergreen trees. Some sites close in the winter due to snow coverage but 110 sites are available from spring to late fall. Azalea Campground is located close to Grand Grove Village with plenty of amenities.

  • Canyon View Campground, United States

      Canyon View Campground is a group Campground located next to Cedar Grove Village. It has 16 sites and is one of the best campgrounds in Kings Canyon National Park with the impressive sites of the famous granite cliffs. These sites are good for both medium and large groups and showers and food are available at Cedar Grove Village.

  • Sentinel Campground, United States

      Sentinel Campground is located next to Cedar Grove Visitor Center in Kings Canyon National Park. It's located on the South Fork of the Kings River and is surrounded by evergreen trees. Services and food are available 0.25 miles away at Cedar Grove Village.
