Pastry Xpo Cafe in Falls Church, United States
Union Oyster House in Boston, United States

When in Boston, you have to have clam chowder. The minute you step into the Union Oyster House, you can tell it has history, which you'll soon find out includes the Kennedys as patrons. Although an expensive seafood restaurant, eating a bowl of clam chowder at the bar is perfectly welcome, and you won't be disappointed!

Gino's East in Chicago, United States

While there is a lot of debate about who has the best deep dish in Chicago, I'm a Gino's East girl. Anytime I'm in Chicago, this is my go-to spot for that mouthwatering pizza that fills your belly.

La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club in San Diego, United States

The best tex-mex breakfast I ever had was at this hotel restaurant. They set a new bar for Juevos Rancheros.

Rasika in Washington, United States

For Indian Food as beautiful as it is delicious, Rasika will have you dreaming about its flavors for days. A DC favorite, President Obama was known to eat there as well.

Craft in New York, United States

Expensive for a reason, every bite is mouthwatering. Created by Tom Colicchio (well-known as an original Top Chef Judge), the experience completely validates his celebrity chef status.

Palace Café in New Orleans, United States

As a general rule of thumb, New Orleans has some of the tastiest food in America. For that fine dining experience and flavors you'll remember years from now, check out the Palace Cafe. Run by the locally-famed Brennan family, this one of several well-known, high end restaurants in town to their family's credit, and my personal favorite (maybe because I worked there in 2001-2002!).

Zingerman's Delicatessen in Ann Arbor, United States

The meats! The cheeses! The breads! Every component of every sandwich is top notch and it could compete against any NYC deli. In fact, it's been ranked as the best deli in America by multiple sources, multiple times.

Yank Sing (Stevenson St.) in San Francisco, United States

My all time favorite place for dim sum, I've been going here since I was a little kid. The takeout window is not the same quality, so definitely dine in for the full experience. And you have to get the Peking Duck!

When it comes to this pastry shop, don't judge a book by it's cover. In this case, it's '80s style logo and unassuming storefront. This spot actually makes desserts for many of the hotels and top restaurants in the DC area. For this reason, they have a huge variety of high end deserts by the slice, which change daily.
