      The island of Divar lies in the Mandovi river in the Indian state of Goa. It is one of 6 major islands between the Mandovi and Zuari, the others being: Ilha de Goa, Chorão, Cumbarjua, St Estevam, Vanxim and Several other small mangrove islands and sand banks.       Galgibaga Beach also called Galgibagh Beach is a beach in south Goa. It is one of the lesser-known and cleanest beaches of India. It located in the south of Goa in Canacona region, 7 km from famous Palolem Beach. Galgibaga beach is reported to be a nesting ground for Olive Ridley turtles.

      The road to get here is not an easy one as a rock filled mud terrain takes around 20 minutes of driving which offers one of the beat cliff views of the South Goan coastline. Lying North of Agonda beach coast separated by mountains. Go kayaking in the water stream formed along the beach coast line and explore a side of Goa not witnessed to the regular beach lovers. Worth a visit if you are an adventure junkies.

      Agonda Beach is a public beach located in Agonda village in Goa, India, about 9.2 kilometres (5.7 mi) north of Palolem Beach in South Goa district, and about an hour from Margao.[4] There is one more beach on the north side of Agonda cliff called Cola beach which has an adjoining lagoon. During the month of September, the beach serves as a nesting ground for olive ridley sea turtles.

      A sight to behold, as a waterfall streams down the mountains as it makes its way to the seabed. A 10 minute hike along a muddy terrain gets you to this beautiful pebble beach. Great spot for adventure seekers.

  • Cabo de Rama Fort, India

      In the 1760s, the Portuguese gained control of Cabo de Rama after the Raja of Soonda surrendered his territory to them in return for protection against Hyder Ali of Mysore. Prior to that, the fort had regularly switched hands between Hindu and Muslim monarchs. The present structure with its walls, moats, ramparts turrets, chapel and cannons are remnants of the Portuguese era. The Portuguese equipped it with 21 guns and installed military barracks, a commander's quarter and a chapel. In 1799, the Fourth Anglo-Mysore War saw the defeat of the King of Mysore, thus bringing an end to the Portuguese's primary rival in the region. Over time, the purpose of the fort shifted from being a defensive structure, to a prison. This fort housed a government prison till 1955. Today, this fort is in partial ruins, but is a popular tourist attraction of Goa.

      Betul is a coastal town located in South Goa District, Goa, India. It is one hour distance from Margao. It is known for its beach. The Sal river drains into the Arabian sea near Betul. The place is also home to the Betul Fort.

  • Cavelossim Beach, India

      The town hosts a well known beach at the southernmost tip of the Salcete beach stretch that starts from Majorda in the north to Cavelossim in the south. The Sal river flows into the Arabian Sea at the south of this town.

  • Colva Beach, India

      Colvá is a coastal village in Salcete, south Goa, on the west coast of India. Colva Beach stretches for around 2.4 kilometres (1.5 mi), part of a beach consisting of about 25 kilometres (16 mi) of white sand, extending from Bogmalo in the north to Cabo de Rama in the south. The village had significant importance to Portugal and was the retreat for Goa's high society, who would come to Colvá for their mundanca or change of air.
