OK, this is definitely leaning hotel but no list about lodging in Sequoia National Park would be complete without a mention of Wuksachi. Arguably the best location in the park, Wuksachi Lodge is located in the Giant Forest area of Sequoia National Park, home to General Sherman, the world's largest tree.

Located only 1/4 mile from the entrance, Buckeye Tree Lodge offers the closest cabins to Sequoia National Park. They are well equipped and very quaint, but only 10 cabins are available so book early.
