My 6 NYC Valentine’s Day Recommendations

Jasmine Caceres

If you’re actually into celebrating Valentine’s Day (or just want to grab a trendy and delicious meal with pals) these are my go-to recommendations for a romantic and outstanding meal.

Marta, The Musket Room, Peak Restaurant & Bar, Forsythia, La Grande Boucherie, I Sodi

For something a bit more casual but no less delicious, Marta is an amazing find. Start your meal off with the Duck Bolognese Arancini or chicken meatballs followed by some of the most delicious brick-oven pizzas. My personal favorite is the Funghi.

  • The Musket Room in New York, United States

Looking for something unique and upscale? The Musket Room boats a New Zealand influenced tasting menu - with a specialty menu just for Valentine’s Day. Nothing says comfortability like getting out of your comfort zone together.

  • Peak Restaurant & Bar in New York, United States

This relatively nee restaurant has several perks - first the captivating view of New York. Second, following dinner, you can head up to the Edge, the popular Hudson Yards observation deck which also happens to be the highest sky deck in the Western Hemisphere.

  • Forsythia in New York, United States

Is there a better way to impress a date than by grabbing a coveted reservation at this downtown Italian restaurant? The only thing that will “wow” your date even more will be the eats. I have yet to hear one negative review of any entrees but I will say the Polpetta dal Santo Polato (a braised then fried short rib meatball) is a must-try appetizer.

  • La Grande Boucherie in New York, United States

Whether you grab a table at La Grande Boucherie, or one of it’s three smaller venues, you won’t leave unsatisfied. The food is spectacular, and the atmosphere makes you feel as if you’re dining in a large upscale establishment in Paris. And Paris IS the City of Love.

  • I Sodi in New York, United States

Is there anything more romantic than sharing entrees? Grab two (or all three) of I Sodi’s famous lasagna dishes (traditional, artichoke, and the insta m-famous cacio e pepe) and share the deliciousness.
