Creating a Custom Submission Form Property

Seeker Events Network | All Plans
This article explains how to create a custom submission form property so you can collect additional information from people who submit events.

Custom submission form properties let you add your own fields to your event submission form, so you can collect information from submitters that is specific to your organization. For example, you might add a phone property so every submitter shares a contact number along with their event. You can create a new submission form property in a few clicks from the ‘Properties’ page in your dashboard settings.

FAQs

Click ‘Settings’ in the left sidebar, then click ‘Properties’ from the submenu. Select ‘Submission Form’ from the dropdown at the top of the page to see your submission form properties.

Event properties are custom fields that can be included in your event information, while submission form properties are fields that can be added to your community submission form to capture additional information from the submitter.

When ‘Required’ is turned on, submitters must complete that field before they can submit their event. Leave it off if the field is optional.
