Adding a Touch Icon to Your Experience

This article covers how to add a touch icon to your experience, which appears when participants save the experience to their mobile home screen.

A touch icon is the image that appears when a participant saves your experience to their mobile device’s home screen. Adding one gives your experience a polished, app-like appearance and helps participants find it quickly.

How to Add a Touch Icon to Your Experience

  1. Log in at Seeker
  2. From the left navigation, expand ‘Experiences’ and click ‘Manage’.
  3. Locate the experience you want to update. Click the ‘⋮’ menu next to it.
  4. Click ‘Edit’ to open the Experience Builder.
  5. Navigate to the ‘Branding’ section of the builder.
  6. Click ‘Upload’ next to the touch icon field.
  7. Select your image file. For best results, use a square image at least 192×192 pixels.
  8. Click ‘Save’ to apply the touch icon.

A square image works best. The recommended minimum size is 192×192 pixels. PNG format with a transparent background is ideal.

The touch icon appears when a participant uses their browser’s ‘Add to Home Screen’ option on a mobile device. It does not appear within the experience itself.

Yes. Return to the Branding section of the Experience Builder, upload a new image, and save. The updated icon will apply going forward.
