Felicity

A tiny desert town known as the official "Center of the World" and famous for its quirky outdoor museum and granite monuments.

Tips from the community

Felicity, California is more of a state of mind and determination, rather than a town. The creation of Jacques-Andre Istel, the "mayor" of Felicity, and Felicia, his wife, for whom the town is named, Felicity hosts the incredible Museum of History in Granite, the pyramid at the center of the world, the chapel on the hill, and other attractions. It is a fantastic place to explore, reflect, and picnic. Bring the kids and take them through the Animals section. During season, there is a small gift shop with Jacques' book that helps explain the pyramid's presence here. Felicity is located just off of Interstate 8, west of the California/Arizona border and Yuma, Arizona.
