Tips from the community
Buckeye Flat Campground is a tent-only campground located alongside the Kaweah River, 7 miles up from the Ash Mountain Entrance. The area is forested with California buckeye woodland and oaks. This campground is very hot and dry during the summer so fire restrictions are in effect. Buckeye Flat is open from early spring through the fall.
