Tips from the community
Designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando and located in the cultural district of Fort Worth, this is one of America's most impressive collections of post-World War II art. The mission of the museum is "collecting, presenting and interpreting international developments in post-World War II art in all media." The museum is made up of five long pavilions with a huge reflective pond. Of the 3000 pieces in the permanent collection of the museum, there are works by Jackson Pollock, Pablo Picasso, Cindy Sherman, and Andy Warhol.
