Sauvie Island has two of the best summer activities, berry picking and swimming! There are several farm options to pick berries of all sorts towards the end of summer. Pick as many as you can and freeze them for smoothies and other baking treats into the Fall and Winter. Sauvie also has the closest nude beach to Portland.

Sauvie Island shares features that other great hiking, beach, and adventure spots have. But this island (on top of the fact that being on an island is an objectively cool thing) has great fishing, which is something you can't find at every hiking and biking spot.
