Deleting an Event Category

This article explains how to permanently delete an event category in Seeker Events Network.

Deleting a category removes it from Seeker permanently. Any events it was assigned to will have that category removed. This action cannot be undone.

How to Delete an Event Category

  1. Log in at Seeker
  2. Click ‘Settings’ in the left sidebar
  3. Click ‘Categories’ from the submenu
  4. Click the ‘Event Categories’ tab
  5. Find the category you want to delete and click the ‘⋮’ menu
  6. Click ‘Delete’
  7. Confirm the deletion when prompted

FAQs

No. Deleting a category is permanent. If you want to rename it instead, see Editing an Event Category.

The category is removed from those events but the events themselves remain on your calendar.
