Configuring and Embedding Your Calendar

This article covers how to configure your calendar widget settings and copy the embed code to add it to your website.

The Seeker calendar widget lets you embed your community event calendar on any website. You can configure the widget’s appearance and behavior before copying the embed code to paste into your site.

How to Configure and Embed Your Calendar

  1. Log in at Seeker
  2. Click ‘Events’ in the left sidebar
  3. Click ‘Calendar Widget’ from the submenu
  4. Configure your widget settings:
    • Scope: filter by categories, region, and date range
    • Features: enable or disable submission forms, search, and other interactive elements
    • Display: set layout, colors, and appearance
  5. Click ‘Save’ to apply your settings
  6. Copy the embed code from the ‘Embed’ tab
  7. Paste the embed code into your website wherever you want the calendar to appear

Yes. Any changes you make to your widget settings are reflected automatically wherever the widget is already embedded. You don’t need to re-paste the embed code.
