Located on the rocky coast of Lake Superior, the 1,000 watt Split Rock Lighthouse is one of the most photographed spots in Minnesota. Built in 1910, the lighthouse is a national historic landmark that claims to be the most visited lighthouse in the U.S. Visitors can tour the grounds and explore the inside of the decommissioned lighthouse.
