      Viking Alchemist Meadery uses all local ingredients to create their vast variations of flavors of meade (alcohol brewed from honey). For the third year running, their amaretto flavored mead, “Bliss,” has been voted Best Mead in Georgia in the Georgia Trustees Wine & Spirits Challenge!

      Terrapin Beer Co. is headquartered in Athens, Georgia, but has a taproom located just outside Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves. Terrapin brews a handful of beers locally including “Chopsecutioner” and “Los Bravos,” two brews made particularly for Atlanta baseball fans. There is always something going on, so don’t forget to check their calendar for weekly specials!

  • Shezmu Cellars Winery & Taproom, United States

      Named for the Egyptian god of wine, Shezmu Cellars is owned and operated by the Chinn Brothers, Adam and Cody. Cody was a distiller at Lazy Guy Distillery and Adam was an underground coal miner in Kentucky. After their father’s death in 2017 due to lung problems associated with the coal mines, Adam was diagnosed with black lung. The brothers decided Adam needed to leave the mines and began business planning for Shezmu Cellars. It would provide Adam an opportunity above the ground and allow for the continuation of Cody’s craft alcohol career. In April 2019, that plan became reality when Shezmu Cellars opened in Marietta.

      Education meets recess at Schoolhouse, a Marietta brewery carefully crafted by two former educators. They are stirring up the brewery scene, offering 20 rotating draft beers (no “core” or “flagship” brews), meaning new brews every visit! Ask them for any of the recipes and they’ll hand it over. You can also purchase the ingredients and equipment in the homebrew shop!

      This popular microbrewery opened in 2011 and was the first craft brewery in Georgia to can beer (now industry standard). Red Hare is well known in the Southeast and has won numerous awards from the U.S. Open Beer Championship for its creative use of fun flavors. Red Hare offers six year-round beers in addition to seasonals, craft soda, and hard seltzer brands.

      The small team at Lazy Guy has worked hard to create more than 105 craft cocktails for patrons to enjoy. Best known for their popular bourbons and whiskies, Lazy Guy also makes noteworthy gins and liqueurs. Their mission is not to have a huge portfolio but rather to provide unique, small-batch products.

The goal was a local tasting room that directly serves the surrounding community with a place to enjoy a pint with family and friends. This small 2,600 square foot taproom with 20 origional draft beers on tap features an outdoor patio, bar games, great music, and a place to hang out with your people.

      ASW Distillery is a manufacturer of liquor located in The Battery Atlanta. It is the second legally licensed distillery in Atlanta since the end of American Prohibition and distilled the first single malt whiskey in Atlanta history. In 2018, the distillery's Duality Double Malt Whiskey became Georgia's first-ever Double Gold Medal Whiskey, as judged by the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

      Discover the"best kept secret in Northwest Georgia" at Broken Anchor Winery, the first urban Micro Winery in Acworth, Georgia. Created by a Navy veteran, the anchor pays homage to that time of service while a broken anchor symbolizes letting go of inhibitions. This team produces wine onsite and sells product from other Georgia wineries. Join them for wine by the tasting, glass, or bottle.
