Where are hot springs in Big Bend National Park?

The Hot Springs Historic District of Big Bend National Park is a must-visit spot. Soak in the 105-degree Fahrenheit water while overlooking the [place id="14373" slug="BsfawX_cR/rio-grande-rio-grande" label="Rio Grande"]. It's a beautiful site and the hot springs are said to have healing minerals in them.

The Hot Springs Trail at [place id="2231" slug="jultIe76W/big-bend-national-park-big-bend-national-park-texas-us" label="Big Bend National Park"] is a 1.2-mile hike out to the hot springs and offers a great view along the way.

The drive out to the hot springs is a 2-mile, minimally maintained gravel road following a narrow wash. Motorhomes and oversized vehicles are not allowed on this road. Higher clearance helps.

Also, when water levels in the river are very high the hot springs are not accessible because they are flooded out.
