One of many, Galerie Plein Aire has carved out a very distinct niche in the Carmel art community with its gargantuan original impressionistic landscape paintings of the surrounding local area. Carmel art gallery: Galerie Plein Aire features fine art by long time staples of the carmel art community Cyndra Bradford, Jeff Daniel Smith, and Laurent Davidson who focus on Plein Air style impressionistic oil paintings, large impressionistic studio pieces and functional display sculptures. 40+ years of local experience and 20 years of art gallery ownership make our artists apart of the eclectic bohemian art scene of Carmel-by-the-sea. Husband and wife team Jeff Daniel Smith and Cyndra Bradford are well established artists in California. With art extending 40 years into the past, Jeff and Cyndra's art is suitable for anyone interested in art collecting. Hundreds of pieces are in existence all around the world and are unique in their own way being represented in large incredibly identifiable sizes and painting techniques. Our artists are native born Californians raised in Big Sur, Pacific Grove, and Carmel CA. We are an artist family owned gallery, while only representing a few family members in Galerie Plein Aire, our family spans Carmel's art scene in multiple Carmel art galleries including "Delia" owned by Delia Bradford and the Carmel Art Association. Our artists have been long time members, former board members and featured exhibitionists at the Carmel Art Association and continue to be proactive in the organization. Other examples of the family include Fine-Art Photography by Brock Bradford, paintings by Tal Bradford and historic abstract art and silk screen prints by the late Howard Bradford. We recently relocated to a beautiful space just steps away from Ocean Ave. that we had renovated to provide our customers with an optimal display presence.
