North African kingdom famous for its vibrant markets, ancient medinas, Atlas Mountains, Sahara Desert, and rich cultural heritage.

Chaotic, colorful, eye-opening. These are a few of the adjectives used by folks who have traveled to the picturesque country. Whether you're getting lost in the medinas, trekking the Torda Gorge, or catching some waves at Agadir, there seems to be something here for everyone. And who could forget the "Blue City," Chefchaouen? Definitely a place at the top of my bucket list for travel, period. Did I mention blue is my favorite color?

The history of Judaism in Morocco dates back over 2,000 years, and while you might not find huge celebrations or twinkling lights, Morocco is the place to be if you’re a Jewish foodie. Instead of latkes, dig into a pile of Ma’akouda (a Moroccan potato fritter) and don’t forget to try Sfinge (a donut sprinkled in powered sugar and dipped in fresh honey).
