In 1996, the Frankenmuth Oktoberfest was given an official proclamation from the German Parliament in Munich to support this Oktoberfest event, which has been running since 1997. The four-day event offers an authentic version of Munich’s celebration with entertainment, dancing, souvenirs, wiener dog races, and food, including bratwurst, Weisswurst, pretzels, and beer from Hofbräuhaus brewery. The annual Frankenmuth Oktoberfest is September 15-18, 2022.

Visitors can experience the holiday spirit at Bronner's Christmas Wonderland, which boasts the world's largest Christmas store, and the festive Bavarian Inn Restaurant. The town also hosts various holiday-themed events throughout the year, such as the Frankenmuth Christmas Festival and the Christmas in July celebration.
