North of 8th Avenue and at the end of the boardwalk sits Bradley Cove — or Eighth Avenue Dog Beach. Well-behaved and licensed dogs are welcome to enjoy this beach area year-round from September 15 to May 15. As long as they are supervised and under voice control, dogs can roam freely off-leash. During the summer season, dogs are permitted on the beach before 8:30 a.m. and after 6 p.m.
