Let love lead the way on Lovers Leap trail, a peaceful three-mile backcountry hiking trail tucked inside the 71,000-acre Custer State Park in South Dakota’s Black Hills. The trail gets its name from a rocky outcrop at its highest point where legend has it that two lovers leaped to their deaths.
