Although a victim to excessive commercialized tourism, you\u2019d be remiss to visit Vietnam without seeing this iconic, maze-like labyrinth on water. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.halongbaytours.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Tour boats<\/a> are the only way to see it, but it\u2019s possible to escape some of the crowds by heading to C\u00e1t B\u00e0 Island where you can find a bird\u2019s eye view of the whole bay. You could probably fit a house in there. With underground rivers and room for boats, this monster of a cave basically has its own transportation system. Not to mention, the nearby town of \u0110\u1ed3ng H\u1edbi is severely underrated, meaning it\u2019s highly authentic and you won\u2019t find tourist crowds here. This serpentine road takes you between Hu\u1ebf and \u0110\u00e0 N\u1eb5ng, right on the cliff side along the shimmering waters of the South China Sea. With fast turns and steep inclines up and down, there\u2019s never a dull moment (or view) on this famous stretch. Can your average beach town bring all that?
