The largest tree in the world by volume is indisputably General Sherman, located in the Giant Forest at Sequoia National Park<\/a>. It is 275 feet (83 m) tall and over 36 feet (11 m) in diameter at the base. General Sherman is estimated to be 2200 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
