Its landscapes feel like something out of a dream, from towering ancient trees to volcanic craters, deserts, rocky plains, and cactus-covered mesas. If you’re looking to spark your sense of adventure, there’s no better place than California, home to more national parks than any other state.

California’s nine national parks offer an abundance of ways to plan your travel. With over 15 million acres of national park land, it’s the perfect escape for nature lovers seeking solitude and stunning sights. And that doesn’t even include the state parks and national monuments in California.

If you are planning to visit several national parks in any given year, consider getting the America the Beautiful Pass.
