Tips from the community

There are two reasons to visit Kep, the beach and the national park. The beach is quiet and a nice place to relax during the day, there are lots of restaurants dotted along it with friendly locals always willing to have a chat. I really enjoyed exploring the national park where I found lots of waterfalls (some you can take a dip in), keep your eyes peeled to spot the monkeys swinging from the trees above. It costs just a dollar to enter, there’s no official ticket office but you’ll probably bump into a member of staff who will collect the fee as you walk around the 7 km circuit.
