When: April 3rd, 2021 Where: University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA The very first Hash Bash was held in 1972 in direct response to the famous Michigan Supreme Court ruling that landed marijuana activist, John Sinclair, a 10-year prison sentence for giving an undercover cop two joints. Today, Hash Bash has a lot to celebrate: medical marijuana victories, reduced police involvement, thousands of guests, and support from famous activists, musicians, writers, and celebrities. 2021 marks the sixth year of the Hash Bash Cup: a growers competition.
