This enthralling city has all the same narrow medieval lanes and brick-faced church towers, only hardly a soul seems to know about them! So, delve into the historic center and find yourself gazing at the handsome frontispieces of the aged Town Hall, the ancient relics of the Dybowski Castle, and the museum collections dedicated to Nicolaus Copernicus. It’s hardly a wonder the whole place is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Torun is a well-preserved medieval town in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship of Poland, which is a designated World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Famous for its Gothic architecture, including the stunning St. Mary's Church and the exquisite Town Hall, the town is also known as the birthplace of astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus. Visitors can take a step back in time while wandering its cobbled streets and admiring its historical landmarks.
