Potwisha Campground

A scenic campground offering sites for tents and RVs, nestled in foothills with access to hiking trails, wildlife viewing, and historical sites.

Tips from the community

Potwisha Campground is one of the best campgrounds in Sequoia National Park. Because it's located in the foothills it's open year-round, so it can get very hot in the summer! It accommodates RVs and trailers up to 24 feet in length. The campsite is located close to trails and is one of the closest camping options to the town of Three Rivers.

Potwisha Campground is a year-round campground located 4 miles past the Ash Entrance Station. It sits in the foothills of the park at 2,100 ft which gets very hot in the summer but has comfortable temperatures in the winter. The campground is also open to RVs and includes an RV waste station.
