Tips from the community
Cold Springs Campground is located at the end of Mineral King Road and is a high-elevation campground allowing for cooler temperatures in the summer but it closes in the winter due to snow. Cold Springs Campground has 40 total sites; 31 regular parking and 9 walk-in sites about 100-200 yards from parking. Silver City Resort is 2.5 miles west and has minimal services. There are many beautiful trailheads to mountain passes and alpine lakes near this campground.
