Some come to Lake Garda to laze on pebble beaches and munch ice cream while swimming in crystal-clear alpine waters. Others come to conquer heart-thumping via ferrata routes. If you’re not familiar with those, then let’s just say they involve a harness, a hardhat, and a whole load of vertigo! What’s more, the precipitous mountains of the Valle di Ledro right by Riva del Garda are famous for them. Mind you, those pebble beaches, ice creams, and alpine waters sound just about fine right now.
