Tips from the community
With delicious restaurants, marketplaces, and sights to see, this iconic landmark makes for a fun day in the city. Packed with world-famous food vendors, and close to plenty of legendary San Francisco spots, The Ferry Building is perfect for a day full of amusement and sampling food. We def recommend checking out The Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings, and local fave Gott’s Roadside for mouthwatering California-style burgers.

Lots of stores and food places to choose from. Make sure you check the days the business inside are open. Just because the ferry building is open doesn’t mean the businesses will be. We went in on a Monday I believe and only 2 stores were open.
