Tips from the community
Start at the park for one of my favorite little areas to sit in. Bring a blanket and a cooler and have yourself a little picnic while you watch kids play in the splash pad and dogs run around! There's always ice cream and snowball stands around the park as well in case you need a sweet treat.

This park is right across the street from my apartment, it's a great place to lay a blanket down and dog watch!

Things to do in Charlotte
katie (Katie Camille) Running list of things I've done and plan to do in Charlotte! I have a bunch of friends visiting this summer so we've been trying to find the best activities!Uptown Charlotte Walking Tour
katie (Katie Camille) If you're visiting Charlotte, you likely will stay in the Uptown area as that's where most of the hotels are. Uptown is a great starting point to see what Charlotte has to offer. I recommend walking on a cooler day, the heat down here is no joke but makes a good excuse for ice cream!
