Mersea Island

A tidal island in Essex, famed for its nature reserves, fresh oysters, and charming seaside village atmosphere, accessible via The Strood causeway.

Mersea is a great spot for crabbing in the summer months, taking a trip out on a fishing boat, or even spending a cultural couple of hours at Mersea Island Museum.
