I had the best time wandering through this authentic market in the middle of Papeete (pronounced papa-e-tay). I was the only traveler there, and luckily since I speak French, I was able to chat with the locals. Definitely go here for a meal — the poisson cru (like a poke bowl) is out of this world if you like seafood. Also, there are lots of pretty flowers you can buy!
