Alexander Hamilton Grange National Memorial

A historic house museum honoring a founding father and the first Secretary of the Treasury, preserved within a public park.

Tips from the community

While this is not the original location of Hamilton's home on Manhattan, the house itself was moved twice, once in 1889 and the second in 2008 to where it is now in St. Nicholas Park. Visit the Grange to learn about Hamilton's history as a soldier, statesman, and son in law to Philip Schuyler.

These are some of the many National Historical Parks you can visit in New York State such as Hyde Park, the home of FDR or The Grange, the home of Alexander Hamilton.
