A little outside of Saratoga you can visit the historic Schuyler House, home of General Philip Schuyler (and yes father to the Schuyler sisters you know so well from Hamilton). The original house was burned as the British retreated from Saratoga but it was rebuilt in 1777-1778 after the battle.
