For people with a more… *ahem*… sophisticated idea of the perfect evening, Fotografiska is the perfect way to wow your date. An art museum dedicated entirely to photography, this location features special exhibitions that you can take your time absorbing with a beverage in hand.
If your date is a photographer, or has a passion for the artistic medium, this can be a great way to show them that you care about their interests. Though tickets can be a bit more on the expensive side, many people find themselves spending hours taking in the work. It’s a great option for special occasions and is located around a plethora of amazing restaurants for an amuse-bouche (oysters anyone?).

This new photography museum seeks to display an array of contemporary photography, from fashion to documentary, with a keen eye for aesthetics and incorporation of installation. An extensive souvenir shop, cafe & bar, and five floors of extensive exhibition space included, the Fotografiska museum also allows visitors to bring their cocktails or tea with them on their artistic adventure through the gallery, a feat usually reserved to private openings. Make the most of the artistic framework of NYC and this incredibly trendy and exciting spot, ideal for design and photography fans.
