    • nicolejordan Hike up to one of the higher peaks around Lake Tahoe! Tallac reaches 9,738 ft and provides fantastic views. The hike isn't the easiest though so be prepared.

         
  • Eagle Falls Trailhead

    • nicolejordan Check out this trail for a beautiful hike past Eagle Falls and up to Eagle Lake, one of the alpine lakes that flows into Lake Tahoe. It is a moderate hike and worth the visit.

         
  • Emerald Bay State Park

    • nicolejordan Another one of my favorite spots around Lake Tahoe. Hike down to Vikingsholm, kayak around the emerald colored bay that flows into the lake, trek along the Rubicon Trail. This is a must see spot but gets very busy during the summer and on weekends.
