  The Acropolis Museum was built in an important archaeological site in Athens, called Makrigianni Hill. This building that visitors are visiting today is the new building of the Acropolis Museum, which was founded in 2003. Construction was completed in 2009, when the new Acropolis Museum first opened its doors to its visitors.

  The Acropolis of Athens is perhaps the most famous historical monument in Greece. All the archaeological finds associated with this monument are on display at the Acropolis Museum, which you will find in the heart of the city of Athens.
