This rum distillery is operated by just two guys, so it’s a small operation but you see more and hear more when they share their story. It’s a young distillery, but their rums have already gained a lot of recognition in the industry. Check the website for updates as at one point they were only offering a tasting and not the tour. But do both when you get the chance. They have six rums, two of which are only available in the tasting room.

A distillery that’s made its own king cake rum? Yup, I’m there. They also have their line of 504 home-brewed rum which is made entirely of Louisiana molasses. And another blend inspired by bananas. So there’s no doubt it’s a really authentic spot that’s dedicated to featuring local flavors. It’s a small distillery compared to the others in town but staff know their stuff and you can stay for some cocktails after.
