Lilly's is a small brick lined restaurant right on 9th Ave. It's cozy, has good food and drinks, and for its location in Hell's Kitchen, is not ridiculously expensive. Wins all around!

Hellcat Annie's is a great place for pizza and a beer. It's a little off the beaten path of tourists, so it will mostly be locals you'll see here. I really like their buffalo chicken pizza, and on Wednesday's they give 10% off any check that is being paid by the ladies for "Wage Gap Wednesday's"

Kare Thai in New York, United States

Kare Thai is a delicious Thai restaurant on 10th Ave! The restaurant is a little smaller, but because it is on 10th, it also doesn't get too crowded. We always did take out when we lived there and they were always busy with take out and delivery orders. The peanut curry was my favorite!

Jasper's is owned by the same company as Alfie's (on 53rd). This location is a little more laid back, sports bar type of place. The food is good and they have a really great beer menu!

If you're looking for good Mexican food that won't break the bank, Arriba Arriba is the place for you! it's a bright yellow building on the corner of 51st street so you definitely can't miss it. They also have really great margaritas and a pretty good drink special depending on when you're there.

Blockheads is located right on 50th Street in the courtyard of New World Plaza. They have fantastic burritos and margaritas! They have a bunch of different options to customize your burrito with the usuals like guac and sour cream, or you can substitute things like mac n' cheese!
